Slept late again, trying to put a few deposits in our sleep bank, even skipping the free breakfast so we could have a leisurely breakfast. Ended up going down to the Dennys across from the Convention Center later on. After a relaxing afternoon, we headed down to the Medieval Times, where they have both a little village museum which we wandered around in for a while, then we moved inside to their big event, a "royal feast," around an indoor arena where there is a thin story and lots of horseplay, literally, with jousting and ring-grabbing and stage combat both on and off horseback. Lots of fun, and the meal was even pretty decent too. This one had been on our wishlist for a long time, and we’re glad we finally managed to do it. The show was almost two hours long, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys horses or and innovative way to eat dinner (without silverware!) Had a quick drink at the bar before going to bed, satisfied with the first day of our mini-vacation!
