Monday, August 1, 2011 - Dump/Ride/Dr. Day

Woke up to the alarm ready for a busy day. The septic service arrived just after 9:00, but was done in just 10 minutes or so, charging a very reasonable $20 fee for the service. Then we packed up the horses and headed out to Mendon Ponds Park to get our last ride of the week in, reversing our course from the last time Hubby and I came here. It was just as delightful, saw lots of deer, got off the track once or twice but knew our way around enough to get straightened out after a bit. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves again. Really like this park for riding! I had also made another chiropractic appointment in the afternoon, so we timed it perfectly, finishing our ride then heading out the doctor’s office which was less than 15 minutes away. Hubby didn’t want to bother for himself, but patiently waited in the van while I had my treatment. Afterward we stopped off for ice cream (our latest diet variation is ice cream for lunch, which has actually been very effective in keeping us on tract with losing weight, believe it or not!), before we finally made it home just in time to feed the animals. A great, busy day!
